Gordana Halbreiner

CO – Founder

Gordana Halbreiner is a co-founder of Food Technology Consulting. She has more than 30 years of experience in regulatory affairs, food manufacturing, storage, distribution, and packaging processing, which enables her to consult, conduct training, and audit in these areas.

With FTC, she has been involved in various projects, both in Canada and internationally, developing and implementing Food Safety and Quality Systems and various GFSI schemes and codes in the food, storage, distribution, and packaging industry. Gordana has worked with both federal and provincial Food Safety Systems, including the required food safety programs for exporting, importing, and interprovincial food trading companies. She holds a Bachelor of Food Science and Technology. Gordana also worked with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Food Inspection Branch, and CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), on different projects.

Gordana is a certified internal auditor and ATP (Approved Training provider) for the BRCGS program, HACCP program for food processors and farms by HACCP Alliance, IFS PACsecure by IFS PACsecure. She is FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Lead Instructor and in her career, she provided numerous training in this field.

Ivana Roskic

CO – Founder

Ivana Roskic is a co-founder of Food Technology Consulting with extensive experience in different Food Safety and Quality Systems and various GFSI schemes and codes in the food manufacturing, storage, distribution, and packaging industry. She has assisted in implementing over 200 food safety systems in Canadian, US, and Caribbean companies.

Ivana worked with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Canadian Food Inspection Agency on different projects and has conducted numerous training and audits in Canada. She is holding a Bachelor of Food Science and Technology.

Ivana is a certified internal auditor, as well as ATP (Approved Training Provider) for BRCGS, IFS PACsecure, and HACCP for farms and food processors and she is FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Lead Instructor.

Ivana has worked with both federal and provincial Food Safety Systems, including the required food safety programs for exporting, importing, and interprovincial food trading companies.

  •  Food Safety Initiative
    Food Technology Consulting assisted in the development and implementation of Advantage GMP/HACCP programs in four processing facilities. Food Technology Consulting's dedication and effort - together with OMAFRA staff, scientists, certified laboratories, and Canadian General Standards Board - resulted in Advantage GMP/HACCP certification at these four facilities. This project identified a number of areas where improvements can be made to Advantage GMP/HACCP programs.
